G.I MAP STOOL TESTING

What is a G.I. Map Stool Test?

The Gastrointestinal Microbial Assay Plus (GI-MAP) is an innovative clinical tool that measures gastrointestinal microbiota DNA from a single stool (poop) sample with state of the art, quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) technology. The GI-MAP was designed to detect microbes that may be disturbing normal microbial balance or contributing to illness, as well as indicators of digestion, absorption, inflammation, gluten response, and gut immune function. By identifying infections and gut imbalances we can put together a comprehensive approach to healing the gut with the right protocol based on test results. Testing NOT guessing is key when you’re doing all the right things but still having health challenges. The G.I Map is a stool test that is easily collected at home. Completed test kits are picked up at your home by Express Fed Ex. Test results can take up to 3 weeks to come back from the lab (covid has really slowed things down). All my 1:1 coaching clients get this test ran to check up on the gut and see if there are any bad bugs causing them any issues. The G.I. Map is just one way towards a Dlux Gut.

*Note : It’s best to stop taking probiotics, enzymes, and most digestive aids a few days prior to taking a stool sample for the G.I Map test, for best results. This test is not authorized in the states of New York and New Jersey.*
